Drum Beats...This month's message from your Longhouse ChiefGreetings Big Braves and Princesses, Well friends, it doesn't seem that long ago that I was writing my first Longhouse message and now I am writing the last one for the year. I will be passing the Longhouse Chief torch to the next new Longhouse Chief who will keep the fire burning strong and bright. We are in the final selection process, and we will announce the new Longhouse Chief in the coming months. Sydney and I will still be in the program and we will be as active as always. We introduced some new events to the program this year, such as Meadowcroft and Sno-Zone. Both of these events received very positive feedback. We are also changing the way we do recruiting this year, and the new ideas are quite different than it has been done in the past. These new ideas are refreshing and invigorating and I am sure will have a positive impact to the program. We will be communicating these new ideas in the next month or so, or better yet, attend the Longhouse meeting to hear these great ideas first hand. I want to personally thank everyone who has helped make this year a success. As fellow members of the Indian Princess program, we owe a HUGE THANK YOU too many key people. Please join me in giving TWO BIG HEAP-HOW's to all of the Longhouse Officers . Also when you see these Longhouse Officers please give them a personal thank you. Each one of the volunteers and staff has given freely of their own time to make this program a success. Again, thank you, each and every one of you, for making this program GREAT! As everyone worked hard to plan this year it made the events execute effortlessly. Great job! Though wait.We are not done yet, and we have some DON'T MISS EVENTS coming up right around the corner. All are listed throughout the newsletter. Again, I look forward to contributing to the program along with enjoying all of its benefits with my daughters.
