KOK Winter Campout Registration Form (PDF)

Camp Kon-O-Kwee/Spencer is 500 acres of fields and woodlands located along the banks of the Connoquenessing Creek, 30 miles north of Pittsburgh, just west of Zelienople.

DIRECTIONS TO CAMP KON-O-KWEE
To reach Camp from Pittsburgh, take Route 19 North to Zelienople. Turn West off of Route 19 at the Hotel Kaufmann on Routes 288 & 588. Follow Route 588 West 5 miles to Camp entrance.

If traveling by Pennsylvania Turnpike, use Exit 28 (Cranberry/Perry Hwy), then proceed North on Route 19 as instructed above.

Deer Valley is nestled in the beautiful mountains of Pennsylvania just minutes from Mount Davis, the highest point in the state. 742 acres of magnificent scenery with a 125 acre lake keeps families returning year after year. For over fifty years the camp has been offering quality programs and unique family experiences you can only receive through camp.

DIRECTIONS TO CAMP DEER VALLEY
Take Route 40 or Route 51 to Uniontown. Near, Uniontown, pick up Route 40 East to bypass Uniontown. Continue on 40 East via Chalk Hill, Farmington and Flat Rock. After passing the Yough Lake and town of Addison, make a left onto Route 523 North. Follow 2 miles and make a right at the abandoned gas station onto Mt. Davis Road towards Mt. Davis and Meyersdale. Follow this road approx. 10 miles to entrance of Deer Valley along the slopes of Mount Davis.

2 bottom sheets-twin or double to cover bunk mattresses

2 sleeping bags

Medicine kit (aspirin, band aids, lotion, first aid)
Tribe vests

Board games, puzzles for bad weather

If the tribe is cooking out on Saturday night after the campfire:
Table top grill – only 2 or 3 big braves in the tribe need to bring these:

Cutting board
Boning knife
Bottle opener
Paper plates
Paper or plastic cups
Roll of paper towels
Garbage bags

Food & Drink:

Bottled water
Soft dinks
Juice/drink boxes\
Meat item for cookout
Chips and snacks
Cookies

Fall and Spring Campout Items:

Winter Campout Items:

Helmets (for sledding)
